Out of action for a few weeks, the Webasto central heating was repaired and serviced (with a new burner which is, apparently, a consumable.)

Replaced the primary and secondary fuel filters.

The secondary is easier to access if one removes the filter carrier from the forward part of the engine with a pair of 17mm wrenches

14th November 2025 - Engine hours: 1135 - Refreshed 10 litres of engine coolant

Drained and replaced 10 litres of engine coolant.

Bled air out of the coolant system (tap on bulkhead forward of engine.)

Checked expansion tank cap was in good condition.

Water Pump #1 failed while draining and flushing the fresh water tank. A replacement was found at Midland Chandlers and installed.

Rusted superstructure panels at the stern bulkhead and port-side at the stern, as well as the control column were renewed with fresh steel.
